Most economic crimes, corruption occurs mainly due to the illicit or the surreptitious "cash" money transactions that can elude the public or legal scrutiny. Now the good news is that the Information Technology (IT) today with its innovative digital or the “electronic money transaction” and biometric identity, enables the Governments to root-out most economic crimes, known as corruption. Only if there is the political will to get it done.
